The Fire Knife Dance, also referred to as Siva Afi or Ailao Afi, originates from the islands of Samoa. Utilizing the Nifo Oti, a war club commonly used for battle, the Siva Afi is the demonstration of a Samoan warrior's strength and prowess. Not until this demonstration was brought to America was the element of fire added for extra glamour.
With over 4 years of experience training and performing in the art of Fire Knife, I've performed for clientele all across the Chicagoland area from private parties, wedding events, to creative showcases and short films.
